When you submit a quote request through our form, we collect the information you give us, which is:

• your phone number;
• your suburb;
• the service you're after (for example tree removal or stump grinding); and
• a free-text description of the job you provide, which may include any details you choose to add about your property or situation.

This information is personal information under the Privacy Act. We do not ask for, and you should not include, sensitive information (such as health or financial details) in your job description. We may also collect basic technical information automatically — see “Cookies and analytics” below.

Why we collect it

We collect your details for one purpose: to connect you with a local arborist so they can contact you and provide a quote for the work you've described. Treeloppa runs an exclusive-lead model — your request is passed to a single local arborist, not auctioned out to a crowd of competing businesses.

Who we share it with

By submitting a quote request, you agree that we will share the details you provide with one local arborist or tree-service business so they can contact you directly about your job. That third-party business will use your information to respond to your enquiry and is responsible for its own handling of your information once it's with them.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for unrelated marketing. We may disclose information where required or authorised by law.

How it's stored and secured

When you submit a request, your details are stored in our systems and the operator is notified so the lead can be matched and forwarded. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including using reputable third-party hosting and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we need it to connect you with an arborist and to keep reasonable records of the leads we've handled, after which we take steps to delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your details at any time using the contact below.

This site may use cookies and basic analytics to understand how visitors use the site and to keep it working properly.
